- Q: what is the height between shelves?A: The height between each shelf is 7.5 inches. I did not put on the 3rd shelf as we have tall boots which fits perfectly without it on
- Q: On the lower shelves, can a standard dvd case stand upright? looking to use the shelves just for dvd.A: Each wire shelf has a height restriction due to the front and rear round support bars. On my rack, a standard DVD, when held fully upright, will only pass between the top and bottom support bars on the second self. If the DVD's are offered at a slight angle on any self, they will pass the height restriction and once clear of the support bar, can be stood upright without a problem. Without any side support the upright DVD's will fall out sideways if knocked, so some sort of 'bookend' would be required at each end. If the 'bookends' are in place it would not be a problem to load each self as long as you leave a gap of approximately 5 DVD's on each shelf in order to tilt the DVD's.
- Q: Can I paint the wood at the top?A: You may need to sand is down first as it's got a shine but yes it would be ok to paint
- Q: Could inget away with using this as extra kitchen side. The hight and lenght is perfect. Would anyone know??A: I would say yeah as you could probably get wee baskets that would fit on shelves for veg etc. And if you didn't need all the shelves you could prob muss out one or two making a bigger gap for kitchen accessories.
